HR Manager

37.5 hours per week

Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm

£27,436 - £33,500 per annum subject to qualifications and experience

East Park has a long and distinguished history of providing education, care and support to children and young people with multiple disabilities since 1874.  Our school and residential services have evolved over this time and our purpose built state of the art facilities help us continuously improve our services and skills in working with children from across Scotland.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a HR professional in conjunction with the Executive Director/SMT, to support improved HR service delivery across East Park. Through effective management, ensure compliance with statutory responsibilities including Governance support to the Executive Director and the Board of Trustees.

The postholder will be the driving force behind HR design and planning, structure cost analysis, operational delivery, and employee relations.

Key responsibilities within the role include design and development of policies and procedures, skills development, performance and appraisal review and leading the administrative team.

The successful appointment will have confident and up to date employment legislation knowledge, proven working knowledge of HR systems, sound financial skills and full project implementation skills. Confident communication skills, a positive influencing manner and a pragmatic approach to work would also be beneficial in this job.
