East Park is a leading provider of specialist residential / education services for children with learning disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder. We are accredited by the National Autistic Society, Quality Assured by CALM for several years running, and are an SQA Approved Centre.

East Park is seeking Support Workers to join our residential houses. Successful applicants would work directly with young people in their residential houses and out in the community; supporting them to participate in activities and develop life skills such as communication, social skills, and independence. Our young people would benefit from workers who are nurturing, resilient, enthusiastic, reflective, adaptable, and:

Candidates are required to register with Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 6 months of their start date.   They must have approved qualifications to meet SSSC requirements or commit to achieving those within 5 years of their registration start date. Current SSSC requirements are a qualification at HNC or above and an SVQ3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent). Additionally, experience of working with children / young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning disabilities, and challenging behaviour would be beneficial.

Pay Rate: up to £10.66 per hour (plus shift allowance), dependent upon qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include flexible shift patterns, health cover, pension scheme, and our own training department which supports learning and progression.
