SUPPORTED ACCOMMODATION
We offer residential care in our 4 community houses to children and young people aged 5-19 years of age who have complex learning and physical differences including autism. The high-specification purpose built houses which are situated in residential areas in the north of Glasgow are each home to 4 to 5 young people.

We
offer flexible packages of support with some children attending East Park
School and some attending other day schools. |

person-centred approach ensures that our service responds flexibly to
the changing and specific needs of individual young people in order to
achieve positive outcomes. |

Young
people's individualised care support plans are agreed and negotiated and
subject to regular review. |
|
We
work in partnership with children, young people and their families involving
them in the delivery and direction of services and supporting them to
reach decisions, make choices that affect their lives and maximise opportunities. |
|
We
recognise that learning stretches beyond the school day and so provide
a stimulating, challenging but safe environment offering young people
positive life experiences and supporting them to expand their capabilities
and achievements by accessing new activities. |

We
support young people to develop life skills and self care skills in order
to help them prepare for a more independent life in the adult world. |
|
We
work collaboratively with young people, families, social work, education
and health care professionals to manage transitions through pathway planning. |
|
Our
staff, who are selected via a robust recruitment process are registered
with the Scottish Social Service Council (SSSC) and qualified accordingly. |
