East Park is a leading provider of specialist residential / education services for children with learning disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder. We are accredited by the National Autistic Society, Quality Assured by CALM for several years running, and are an SQA Approved Centre.

Position overview

East Park is seeking a Team Leader. Successful applicants will manage the residence and will support in all aspects of the management of the care and support of the resident young people. You will report to the Care Services Manager. In line with the values of Getting it Right For Every Child (GIRFEC) and Curriculum for Excellence (CfE), the Team Leader will work collaboratively with others, as a member of the team around the child, to promote the well-being of children and young people and to ensure that, for all resident young people, East Park is a safe, nurturing and valuing environment in which to grow and learn.

Candidates are required to be registered with Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).   They must have approved qualifications to meet SSSC requirements or commit to achieving those within 5 years of their registration start date. Current SSSC requirements are a qualification at HNC or above and an SVQ3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent). Additionally, experience of working with children / young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning disabilities, and challenging behaviour would be beneficial.

Pay Rate: from £19.14 to £22.25 per hour, dependent upon qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include flexible shift patterns, health cover, pension scheme, and our own training department which supports learning and progression.
